Why not this generation?

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” – Matthew 24:14

The question is: how desperate are we to “see the son of man coming on the clouds of the sky” (Matthew 24:30)?

I believe that to every generation God gives the tools, the ability, and the opportunity to see this gospel of love permeate every tribe, tounge, and nation on the earth.

However, there has yet to arise a generation bold and faithful enough to turn this dream of God into a reality.

Who will turn their backs on what little this fading world has to offer and run the race with all endurance until they finally drag their battered crosses across the finish line.

The Kingdoms of Light and Darkness were never meant to be at equilibrium.

Light displaces darkness.

The two were never meant to exist in the same space.

God’s desire is to have worshipers from every tribe, tongue and nation surrounding His throne. (Revelation 7:9)

Just like potential energy, the Kingdom of God is simply waiting to break forth like a flood and wash over every corner of this thirsty world.

So why doesn’t it?

Because it needs a catalyst.

Something to start the reaction. (for those  who don’t read chemistry textbooks for fun)

It needs people who will give whatever it takes to see Heaven come to Earth.

Every revival in the history of Christianity has begun with one person

God is always ready for revival to break out.

Are you?

What is stopping you from being the Catalyst that initiates the greatest move of the Kingdom ever?

The God I serve is the best at taking screwed up, pathetic, unskilled, unlovable, broken people like myself and using them in the most glorious and unexpected ways.

am I wrong?
